Paid for Express, Got a Lie: My Shipping Nightmare 😡


I'm writing this to warn others about my recent, terrible online shopping experience. I thought paying more for faster service would guarantee a smooth process, but I was wrong. I placed an order for frames only without a prescription and paid for express shipping. On June 25th I received an email saying the frames had shipped. Two days later the tracking information says a label was created but the carrier still does not have the shipment. There is also no estimated delivery date. The lack of any real information was maddening, which is why I felt compelled to contact their support team for answers.

Customer: Hi, I'm following up on my order. I paid for express shipping and got a "shipped" notification two days ago, but the tracking still just says "label created." The carrier doesn't have it. What's going on?

CS Rep: I'm very sorry to hear about the delay and the confusion with your tracking information. Can you please provide me with your order number so I can look into this for you right away?

Customer: It's order number 1138. I paid extra for express because I needed these quickly. "Label created" doesn't mean it's shipped. I'm very frustrated.

CS Rep: Thank you. I see the issue now. It seems there was a dispatch error at our warehouse. I sincerely apologize. I have escalated this to have your package sent out with the next carrier pickup today and I am refunding your express shipping fee immediately.

Customer: A refund for the shipping is the least you can do. I'll be waiting for that updated tracking number today.

CS Rep: Absolutely. You will receive an email confirmation as soon as it's in the carrier's hands. Again, I am truly sorry for this frustrating experience.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
